On Telegram application, you can simply schedule deletion. If you want to permanently delete your Telegram account immediately, see instructions here.
Note before deleting your Telegram account
- – Everything including your contacts, messages, images, videos, files are permanently deleted.
- – It may take 1-2 days before you can recreate a new Telegram account from this phone number.
- – When re-registering a Telegram account from this phone number, it will be a new account, nothing.
- Chat history is still saved on your chat partner's side. Your name will change to Deleted account.
- – Your Group and Channel will still operate normally. If you are the only admin, there are no other admins then Telegram will assign admins from members.
How to delete Telegram account immediately (phone & computer)
You can use this method to delete your Telegram account immediately on your phone and computer, both using a web browser.
Step 1: Open the link to delete Telegram account here: https://my.telegram.org/auth
Step 2: Log in to your Telegram account.
Enter the phone number with the country code (+84) in front in the Your phone number box and then press the Next button.
For example, your phone number is 0901234567, then enter +840901234567 or +84901234567.
Step 3: Telegram will now send the confirmation code via the Telegram application, not SMS.
Messages from Telegram will look like: This is your login code: XXXX. The code to get is XXXX
You take this code and enter it in the Confirmation code box and then press the Sign in button.
Step 4: After logging into your Telegram account, click Delete account.
Step 5: Note that this action CANNOT BE RECOVERED.
Leave a reason to delete your Telegram account so that Telegram can improve service quality or NO, then press the Delete My Account button.
Immediately, your Telegram account will be deleted and logged out of all logged in devices.
